Meditation
30 Minutes.
Dick Sutphen, guided chakra self-hypnosis meditation.
It’s been a casual kind of start to the week regarding my practice. Well, regarding the meditation part of the practice it’s been about the same level of dedication (daily); however, when it came to notes and tiny illustrations I decided to take a small break. My birthday was this Monday, May The 4th Be With You! So, I felt like just slowing down a bit and enjoying my evenings.
I’m not saying I don’t enjoy illustrating, I absolutely love it, but it does tend to drift me to later bedtimes. This was a good exercise in remembering what my optimal weekday bedtime is; now I work on making that standard even with daily notes and illustrations.
Nothing fancy with today’s meditation outside of an odd visit. I saw a shadow-form which was dog-headed, with a long snout, no further details. It entered my field of view and moved slowly out within a few moments. No idea what it was about, but today’s tiny illustration is doing more attribution to the form than there really was in the moment.

The week’s sessions were modest. Monday through Thursday I was on a working schedule, so the time available for any single session was a 30-minute working-day window. I did not have a notable immersive session this week, nor last week, nor the week before, nor the week before that… the drought has continued for the sixth week in a row.
Part of my continuing work on Percept Index, where I document and illustrate my experiences with lucidity, awareness, and perception.
